RenterPro Update: Customer Rental History & Custom Invoice Values
The Problem
Two things kept coming up from rental businesses using RenterPro: knowing who your repeat customers actually are without digging through past bookings, and handling one-off charges — a seasonal discount, a damage fee — without hacking around the invoice every time. Neither needed to be always-on for every client, so both landed as optional, toggle-based features.
What's New
Customer Rental History — See how many times a customer has rented from you, right on their profile and again when selecting them for a new booking. It's a quick way to spot your regulars without cross-referencing past orders manually.
Custom Invoice Values — Set up reusable charges or discounts once in the Admin menu — a seasonal discount, a damage fee, whatever recurs for your business — then check them onto any booking or quote. The amount stays fully editable per booking and flows straight through to the invoice, PDF, and email.
Here's a quick walkthrough of both:
How to Enable It
Both features live under the Admin menu as simple on/off toggles. Turn them on only when you need them — there's no clutter or added complexity for businesses that don't use them, and no migration step involved either way.
What's Next
More feature updates are in the pipeline as RenterPro rolls out to additional clients with white-labeling. This is the first in an ongoing series covering what's shipping and why — expect more of these as development continues.
